My own blog..Finally!

After much procrastination, trial and error, I finally created my blog and it looks exactly the way I wanted it to look. The reason I say trial and error is because I experimented with tons of layouts, myriad designs/backgrounds and a multitude of fonts and styles until I arrived at the perfect look.

I always wanted to maintain a personal journal of my own so that years later, when I read through the pages I wrote, I can reminiscence the good ol' days and go back in time to experience those bitter-sweet moments that made me smile, made me cry, touched my heart and shaped my life.

Although I did write a few diaries, somehow, I managed to lose them through the years. So I start this blog today, hoping, that it would withstand the sands of time and serve as a pensieve that I can look back into. By the way, I just learned that 'pensieve' isn't a real word in the dictionary! It's a figment of J.K. Rowling's imagination, which happens to fit perfectly in this context.

Before I end my first post, I think I should explain why I chose to name my blog K-Kaleidoscope....another tough decision I had to make! I experimented with different names, but somehow, this title seemed apt. I named it so because I believe life is what we make of it. It is what we see, what we feel and what we experience that makes our life unique and this notion of perception changes over time.

Google defines Kaleidoscope as: "a complex pattern of constantly changing colors and shapes ".
This is exactly how I perceive my life- complex, colorful and ever-changing.
